Do you love your spouse enough to accompany him on rides with his buddies and their spouses once or twice a year?
Now, I love my husband, and I enjoy his Maverick. But I am not spending four straight days with my butt perched in a cold, wet seat. And I am also not camping in an off road park. Not happening.
I will however, accompany him anywhere he likes in Ontario, with a warm bed, AC in the summer and running hot water. Yes, I am high maintenance.
The issue with my fellow UTV spouses is – what are we going to do while they go out screaming around sand pits and crawling up large boulders?
Some of the places along the trail systems leave nothing to offer those who want other options to do on this vacation.
Here is where I come in – we have travelled along many of those Ontario off road trails. I can help you find a place to stay that is right off the trail, doesn’t include sleeping with rats, with a clean bathroom and actual pillows. I can also give you options for other ways to spend a day or two AWAY from that roaring machine. In all seriousness, I love spending those weekends with our couple friends, and getting out into the fresh air. If the truth be told, I can’t imagine he wants me in that buggy with him for four straight days. And he certainly wants to make sure I have lots to keep me busy while we are there.
